It was 1996 when Jason installed earlier versions of Bryce and Photoshop for his first Macintosh computer and realized an intense love for 3d artwork and the mechanics behind it. "I was pretty artistic growing up, and dabbled in graphic illustration and actually subway art (having purchased books on and learned about graffiti), but never really pursued either of those directions. My current goals include learning and mastering animation, realism in animation and basically just looking for ways to inspire and in turn be inspired by others. "For the last couple of years I've been creating both realism and abstract images in Cinema 4D and Photoshop. I use Poser sparingly, and I still use Bryce but not too often." |

Jason and his ample portfolio can be found at Cepheid Design on the web. It's a site that's certainly worth visiting and admission is still free! With his obvious talent and eye for detail, it's plain to us that this young artist has a bright, promising future. |
